Traditional carnival in Lantz, Navarra. This pagan celebration occurs on the days before Ash Wednesday. On the Monday and Tuesday of carnival, the streets are filled by people dressed up as different characters. The aim is to capture the thief, Miel Otxin, portrayed as a giant psychedelic doll. The doll is paraded around the village and the final day culminates in a giant bonfire with much dancing.
