Heineken - Meet The World In One City

Adventure isn't about spending lots of money or escaping off to fancy places. It's all about attitude. And if you've got the right attitude, you can have amazing adventures wherever you are. To prove this, we created this real time, live experiment for Heineken - the world's most travelled beer. Millions of fans on social media tuned in over two weeks, as two ordinary guys from Amsterdam set out to meet someone from every country in the world - without leaving town.

Social media meets real life

The project was promoted globally, so Heineken's fans all around the world could use their social media to help Mick and Barnaby meet up with as many countries as possible in a frantic two weeks. The final total was around 150 countries - an amazing achievement in such a short time. And the best possible way to bring the world of Heineken's glossy television advertising closer to the ordinary beer drinker.
